Global Careers Values
Founders
Global Career was founded by two Danish sisters, both university-educated respectively in Humanities and Social Sciences. Both equipped with theoretical knowledge but also a great interest in sports. They have been shaped by a multicultural upbringing, with roots from the former Yugoslavia, raised in Denmark, and now residing in France and Greece.
We embrace the best from all cultures. We have been enriched with several languages and feel a desire to share our experiences as global citizens. We wish the whole world as our playground, where we get closer to each other, and limitations are only set by yourself.

Olivera Jurisic, 34, Strasbourg,
MSc in IT and Learning, former professional handball player, Partner at Global Career
A graduate in humanities specialized in IT and Learning. The most pertinent aspect to know about me is my understanding of the urge to explore the world and challenge myself by breaking out of the conventional lifestyle and doing things a bit differently.
I’ve been living and working in France since 2015: I’ve changed industries, traveled, stumbled, and got up again. I still have the need to move, explore, learn, seek new acquaintances and experiences.
My interest goes beyond merely attracting candidates with many years of experience. I also seek individuals who share my curiosity and openness to the world and who are ready to fill their life tank with new and exciting experiences.
However, there can also be challenges associated with the leap of traveling and working abroad. That’s why we always prioritize our candidates. We discuss thoughts, concerns and dreams associated with departure. We are thorough in the individual research to best meet each person’s wishes. But most importantly, we follow up and serve as the candidate’s support throughout the entire process.

Neda Jurisic, 28, Athens,
MSc in Education Science, professional handball player, Partner at Global Career
A graduate in Education Science from Aarhus University, specializing in organizational development and leadership.
I ventured to Greece as an Erasmus student in 2017 to explore a new culture and seek new adventures. Captivated by the deeply rooted Greek culture and their ability to embrace the moment and live in the present, I quickly decided to stay and pursue a professional career but also continuing as a professional handball player.
My vision for the future was clear. I wanted to provide others with the opportunity to experience the same adventure and explore a new culture. Since then, I’ve focused on the recruitment industry, assisting individuals in finding their ideal career opportunities abroad.
My own journey has provided me firsthand experience with both the advantages and challenges of traveling abroad and navigating cultural differences. At Global Career, we therefore prioritize meticulous preparation and effective communication with our candidates to ensure they experience the most enriching cultural exchange and have an amazing experience during their journey.
You regret the chances you didn’t take!
